[OIRSCHOT, March 2025] Heras, a leading European provider of site security solutions, has acquired Govers Sierhekwerk (Govers). This strategic acquisition strengthens Heras’s position in the Netherlands and allows Govers to grow further within a strong organisation. Govers will continue to operate within Heras as a specialist supplier of custom-made gates for both the upper residential segment and industry.
The acquisition gives Heras access to Govers’ specialist knowledge, while Govers benefits from Heras’s broad product range and national coverage. This enables both companies to offer clients an even more complete and integrated solution.

The owners of Govers, Jean Paul and Gerwin Govers, will remain involved in the organisation and be part of the management of Heras in the Netherlands. Govers will continue to operate from Budel and Venray.
