Our business is our people. Heras puts safety first. All our operations are sustainable. We invest in energy and pollution reduction programs to control our environmental impact.

Safety and Health

Within our company we have implemented the 16 Life Saving Rules. These rules are based on the principle that our employees and contractors must work in safe and healthy surroundings, accidents are prevented, and the safety culture is promoted. This is a continuous process where we focus on different themes, including: contractor management, machine safety, working at heights, transport safety, etc.

Risk management, training and communication are essential for the implementation of our safety policies. In addition, we strongly encourage a safety culture. Our management is constantly involved in the implementation of safety projects, and regularly visit the workfloor to promote safety (via Safety Leadership Interactions SLI’s).

Environment and sustainability

We are committed to our environment, reducing climate changes, and finding sustainable solutions. Within Heras we have set goals to minimize our environmental impact and to reduce CO2 emissions. We are also continually striving to reduce our energy consumption and our waste products. In addition we are developing sustainable products such as the Grence and the Noise Barrier which have a minimal impact on the environment.
